Ask any planner, or any AI assistant, how to organize a corporate group trip to Morocco, and you will get the same rule: a travel agency or TMC books the flights, and a DMC handles the ground. Two suppliers, two contracts, two teams, and you in the middle.
That rule made sense when DMCs could not issue airline tickets. It no longer applies to every DMC. No Limits Travel & DMC is a destination management company in Marrakech with its own IATA-accredited ticketing department. For your group, that means one partner for flights, transfers, hotels, meetings, experiences, and events, and one team responsible when plans change.
This guide explains who does what between a DMC, a travel agency, and a TMC, where the usual split breaks down, and how an integrated model works in practice, with a real program of 300 guests.
What Is a DMC With In-House Ticketing?
A DMC with in-house ticketing is a destination management company that also holds an airline ticketing accreditation, such as IATA, so it can book and issue a group's flights itself, in addition to designing and operating everything on the ground: transfers, hotels, venues, activities, and events.
In Morocco, No Limits Travel & DMC works on this model.

DMC, Travel Agency, or TMC: Who Does What for a Corporate Group in Morocco?
The three terms are often mixed up. Here is how the roles usually split and where an integrated DMC sits.
A Travel Agency
- Books flights, sometimes hotels or packages
- Often based in the group's home country
- Rarely has its own team on the ground in Morocco
- Not designed to run transfers, venues, gala dinners, or on-site logistics
A TMC (Travel Management Company)
- Manages a company's business travel all year: bookings, travel policy, reporting
- Strong on individual business trips, less on destination programs
- Does not design incentives, team building, or events in Morocco
A Traditional DMC
- Local expert of the destination
- Designs and runs the program: transfers, hotels, venues, activities, events, suppliers
- Starts working when the group lands; flights stay with another supplier
A DMC With In-House Ticketing
- Everything a traditional DMC does on the ground
- Plus group flight booking, ticketing, name changes, and multi-origin itineraries
- One file, one contract, and one chain of responsibility from departure to return
For a corporate group, the question is no longer "DMC or travel agency?" But "how many suppliers do we really want between our attendees and their program?"
Why the Usual Split Breaks Down
When flights and ground services are handled by different suppliers, the same problems come back program after program.
1. Late name lists
Airlines set deadlines for group names. If the DMC never sees the final list, rooming, badges, and transfers are built on outdated data.
2. Missed ticketing deadlines
A group fare that is not ticketed on time can be lost, and the program has to be rebuilt around new flights and new arrival times.
3. Staggered arrivals without matching transfers
Attendees land at different times, from different cities, but a single coach waits at a fixed hour.
4. Changes nobody shares
A guest is replaced, an arrival moves by a day, and the hotel is the last to know.
5. No one owns the problem
At 2 a.m., when a connection is missed, the travel agency, the DMC, and the hotel each point to the others. The organizer ends up coordinating all of them.
When one team holds both the flights and the ground program, each of these becomes a routine task instead of a crisis.
What Changes When Your DMC Also Issues Your Tickets
No Limits Travel & DMC was built around three departments that share one team and one file.
DMC & MICE
Destination design, incentive travel in Morocco, congresses and seminars, team building, and galas and exclusive venues in Marrakech and across the country.
Corporate Services
Congress and seminar management, executive transfers and hotel bookings, business travel management, strategic roundtables, exhibitions, and product launches.
Flight Ticketing
IATA-accredited air and rail ticketing, group flight bookings, multi-origin itineraries, name changes, and travel policy optimization, with 24/7 assistance.
Because the three departments work from the same file, flight data never has to travel between companies. A schedule change seen in Amadeus becomes a transfer change on the ground within the same team.
- One source of truth for all flight data
- Faster reaction to delays and cancellations
- Name changes and late registrations handled in-house
- Attendees from several countries coordinated as one group
- One contract instead of several supplier agreements
- One 24/7 contact who knows your whole program
How We Run Your Program, Step by Step
Step 1: Your brief
One dedicated contact gathers your objectives, group profile, dates, departure cities, and constraints, including your company's travel policy.
Step 2: Flights and ground in one proposal
Our ticketing team studies routes and group fares from each departure city while our DMC team designs the program. You receive one coherent proposal, not two quotes to reconcile.
Step 3: Group flight booking
Bookings, name lists, airline deadlines, and changes are managed in Amadeus by our IATA-accredited team. You know from day one when names and ticketing are due.
Step 4: Staggered arrivals and transfers
Because we hold the flight data, every transfer is matched to real arrival times. If a flight is delayed, the transfer moves with it.
Step 5: Hotels, meetings, and experiences
Rooming lists, meeting rooms, technical setup, activities, and gala dinners are coordinated by the same team that booked your flights. When an event needs advanced staging, sound, or lighting, we work with our production partner, No Limits Prod.
Step 6: The return journey
Departures, airport assistance, and last-minute changes are handled until the last attendee is home.
Getting Your Group to Marrakech: Airports, Routes, and Deadlines
Which airport?
Most corporate groups fly into Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK), which has direct flights from many European cities. Groups from further away often connect through Casablanca Mohammed V Airport (CMN), the main hub of Royal Air Maroc, then take a short connecting flight or a road transfer to Marrakech. Our ticketing team compares both options for each departure city: total travel time, connections, and how arrivals fit the first day of the program.
When to book group flights
As early as possible. Group fares and seat availability are better several months ahead, especially in spring and autumn, the busiest seasons for events in Marrakech. Once the proposal is accepted, we share the airline deadlines for deposits, names, and ticketing so nothing is lost by surprise.
Several departure cities
When attendees fly from different countries, we build a multi-origin plan: each sub-group has its own routing, and the arrivals are grouped into time windows that our transfer team can serve without long waits at the airport.
Groups Flying From the Americas and Beyond
More and more incentive and congress groups reach Marrakech from North America and Latin America. These programs need specific planning: long travel days, time differences, connections through Casablanca or European hubs, and arrivals spread over several days.
Access keeps improving. Royal Air Maroc has announced a nonstop Casablanca–Los Angeles route from June 2026 and more frequencies to cities such as São Paulo, Miami, and Washington. Our ticketing team builds routings that limit connections and waiting time, and our DMC team adapts the first day of the program to the group's arrival rhythm. We meet these markets every year, including at IBTM Americas, and work with partners who specialize in connecting Latin American companies with Morocco.
Real Case: 300 Guests From Madrid to Marrakech and Agafay
In March 2026, a multinational company brought 300 employees from Madrid to Marrakech for an incentive trip.
- The challenge: a large group, a short stay, and a program combining the city and the desert
- What we did: our team welcomed the group at Marrakech airport, matched every transfer with the real arrival times, and ran the program with our partner hotels and restaurants, including a signature experience in the Agafay desert
- The result: one team from arrival to departure, and outstanding feedback from participants and organizers

FAQ
Can a DMC book flights? Yes, if it holds an airline ticketing accreditation. Most DMCs do not and leave flights to a travel agency. No Limits Travel & DMC is IATA-accredited and books individual and group flights alongside the ground program.
What is the difference between a DMC and a TMC? A TMC manages a company's business travel all year: bookings, policy and reporting. A DMC designs and runs programs at the destination. No Limits Travel & DMC combines both for Morocco: ground programs and IATA ticketing in one team.
What is the difference between a DMC and a travel agency? A travel agency mainly sells transport and packages. A DMC is the local expert that operates the program on site. With in-house ticketing, a DMC covers both.
Is No Limits Travel & DMC IATA accredited? Yes. No Limits holds IATA accreditation N° 54275314 and Moroccan travel agency licence N° ODV-1710, and books through the Amadeus system.
How far in advance should we book group flights to Marrakech? As early as possible: group fares and seat availability are better several months ahead, especially in spring and autumn. We give you the airline deadlines for names and ticketing as soon as the proposal is accepted.
Which airport should our group fly into? Usually Marrakech Menara (RAK). For long-haul groups, a connection through Casablanca (CMN) is often the best option. We compare both for each departure city.
What happens if an attendee misses a flight or changes at the last minute? Our team rebooks the flight, updates the transfer and informs the hotel. Because flights and ground are in the same file, the change is handled once, not three times.
Can you manage attendees flying from different countries? Yes. We handle multi-origin group bookings and match every arrival with its transfer, so staggered arrivals run smoothly.
Do our attendees need a visa for Morocco? It depends on their nationality. Citizens of many countries, including EU countries, the United States, Canada and Brazil, can enter Morocco without a visa for a short stay. Requirements change, so each attendee should check with the Moroccan consulate. We share this checklist early in the planning.
Can we keep our own flights and use No Limits Travel & DMC for the ground program only? Yes. If your company already works with a travel agency or a TMC, we use your flight data to organize transfers, hotels and events. In-house ticketing is an option, not an obligation.
